Kick off your Midsummer celebrations with unity and joy! As we blend the magic of Midsummer with the spirit of World Refugee Week, we invite you to dance the early evening away with us.

This year’s World Refugee Week theme, “Community as a Superpower,” highlights the strength found in diversity, inclusivity, and the resilience of the human spirit. This will be an Startup Refugees-style epic evening of music, dance, and togetherness with some surprising Midsummer magic!

DJ Renaz
Renaz Ebrahimi is a Kurdish-Finnish DJ, journalist, and the founder of Helsinki's beloved club concepts Random Nights and SWANA Nights. Known for her versatile and dynamic sets, Renaz seamlessly blends genres including hip hop, R&B, pop, afrobeats, amapiano, house, SWANA sounds, and more—effortlessly mixing timeless classics with fresh new tracks. Deeply committed to fostering safer and inclusive club experiences, she actively promotes diversity and anti-racism within Finland’s music scene and beyond. Renaz's influence extends far past the DJ booth, positioning her as a key figure shaping a vibrant, equitable, and welcoming music culture.

DJ Coco
Roza Ahmad, also known as DJ Coco, is a Helsinki-based DJ, performer, and ballroom photographer. Her sets blend bass-driven ballroom sounds with a diverse range of genres, creating energetic and captivating dance floor moments. Coco is also a member of the renowned House of Xclusive Lanvin and the founder of Elements Ball Concept, contributing actively to the ballroom culture and community since 2015.

Music styles played: flavours around the world - SWANA sounds (south-west-north Africa), amapiano, afrobeats, dancehall, ballroom, house, hiphop, and r&b.

The party is part of the Pride month program, festivities of the 10-year anniversary year of Startup Refugees, and launching the Epimonia x Startup Refugees Collection.
